Ali YilmazAssociate Professor
Ali E. Yilmaz earned his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Bilkent University, Turkey, in 1999, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign, in 2001 and 2005, respectively. He is an associate professor of electrical and computer engineering. Yilmaz joined the university in 2006. His current research interests include computational electromagnetics (particularly fast frequency- and time-domain integral equation solvers), parallel algorithms, antenna and scattering analysis, microwave circuits, electromagnetic compatibility, and bioelectromagnetics. Yilmaz is an associate editor of the IEEE “Transactions on Antennas and Propagation” and a member of the International Union for Radio Science (URSI) Commission B.
