Meticulous Molecular Modeling

The National Institutes of Health calls work at the ICES Computational Visualization Center "meticulous molecular modeling" and published a video to explain it. The 3-D imagery results from the center's combining thousands of speckled pictures at the nanoscale level—plus all the other chemical, biological and structural information they had, into data-modeling software. Dr. Chandra Bajaj, professor of computer sciences and director of the ICES Computational Visualization Center, leads the effort.
