Spinal Cord/Neurology
| Spinal Injury data consists of stained histological cross sections of spinal cords captured
through a high-resolution scanning microscope. Of interest to researchers is the cavitation in the injured portion of the cord. Reconstruction techniques are used to model the spinal cord, the lesion, and the cavitations in the lesion. Quantitative measurements for surface area and volume of the lesion and the cavitations are performed. | |||
